Indian Army JAG Entry 124 Course Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility conditions that must be followed strictly by the aspirants according to the official notification.
Educational Qualification
- Minimum Marks: Aspirants have to have obtained at least 55 percent aggregate marks in their degree of LLB (3 years of professional after the graduation or 5 years of 10 + 2).
- CLAT Score: CLAT PG 2025 Score is compulsory to all applicants (including those with LLM qualification/appearing).
- Bar Council Registration: The applicants must be capable of registering to be an advocate with the Bar Council of India/ State.
- College Acceptance: The Bar Council of India has to recognize the college/university.
Age Limit (As on 01 July 2026)
- Age Range: 21 Years to 27 Years.
- Birth Dates: Aspirants whose date of birth is not prior to 02 July 1999 and not subsequent to 01 July 2005 (both inclusive) are eligible.
- Marital Status: Unmarried Male and Unmarried Female aspirants are only allowed.
Salary and Benefits
- Basic Pay: Rs.56,100 – Rs.1,77,500 per month.
- Military Service Pay (MSP): 15 500/- per month fixed.
- Stipend: Throughout the 49 weeks that the gentlemen/lady cadets are under training at OTA, they are given a fixed stipend of Rs.56,100/- per month.
- Allowances: There are other allowances such as Dearness Allowance, Kit Maintenance allowance, Field Area allowance, High altitude allowance, Siachen allowance, Transport allowance and children education allowance among others according to rules.
- Insurance: Army Group Insurance Fund (AGIF) will cover 1.25 crore.

Selection Process
The JAG Entry Scheme selection process is demanding and entails the following steps:
Stage 1: Short-listing of Applications
The Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Army) has the right to sift the applications depending on the CLAT PG 2025 score. Shortlisted candidates will only be given selection centres.
Stage 2: SSB Interview
The shortlisted applicants will be required to undergo two steps of selection process at one of the selection centres (Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar).
- First stage: Screening (OIR Test and PPDT). Failure by aspirants in this stage is returned on the first day.
- Second stage: Psychological test, Group Testing Officer (GTO) and personal interview. It lasts for 5 days.
Stage 3: Medical Examination
Applicants to be hired through SSB recommendations shall be subjected to a comprehensive medical check-up by an officer of the Board of Service Medical.
Stage 4: Merit List
The list of the final merit will be made depending on the marks received at the SSB interview alone, provided that the candidate is medically fit and meets all the requirements. There will be no extra weightage to higher educational qualifications.

- Fill Details: Fill in the Personal, Communication and Educational details correctly.
- Save and Continue: Check everything in every section and go on by clicking Save and Continue.
- Final Submit: When everything is right, then press the Submit option.
- Print Application: Two copies of application form with Roll Number should be downloaded after 30 minutes of the closure of the online applications on the end day.
