NHPC Eligibility Criteria 2026:
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have a B.Tech/B.E. degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum 60% marks from a recognized university/institute approved by AICTE are eligible to apply for these Trainee Engineer vacancies.
NHPC Age Limit:
The candidates’ maximum age limit is 30 Years.

NHPC Application Fee:

NHPC Salary details:
The selected candidates will receive a pay scale of Rs. 50,000–1,60,000 during one year of training, and after successful completion, they will be appointed as Engineer/Officer with about Rs. 15–16 lakh annual salary plus allowances and benefits as per company rules.
NHPC Selection Process:
- GATE 2024 / GATE 2025 best score (out of 100) in the relevant paper
- Group Discussion (GD)
- Personal Interview (PI)
- Psychometric Test (may be conducted)
